What is Diaper Gap / Diaper Need?

Diaper Gap is an inequality caused by financial status and marketing of big discount stores. It’s no secret that babies use a lot of diapers. And diapers are one of essential necessity for a baby. Many Americans would choose to go to big discount stores where they will get best deal on diapers and get a big box at a time.
However, many other Americans, nearly 1/3 of families struggle to afford enough diapers.
Disposable diapers can cost average of $936 per child per year. For lower income families, this cost equals to 14% of their annual income. Many families struggle to afford diapers because they can’t stock up when its on sale or have access to wholesale stores.

Sample food from 7 different restaurants and vote for a winner!
Registration starts at 2P on South side in front of McCormick & Schmick’s Grille. Be there early!
Participating Restaurants listed below will be offering their signature dish prepared by chefs & students at high school culinary program to sample! Turn in your score card at the end to get free coupon for dessert as well! While sampling different dishes, enjoy musicians throughout the property, see art work from more than 50 artists, enjoy free face painting, balloon animals, henna tattoos, a photo booth and shop at the Craft Fair at the North Court! Make sure to invite all of your family and friends for this free event but let them know that they should be here to register no later than 2P. Only the first 600 people registered will be able to sample the dishes. Registration is free but make sure to get in line early.

How to sell raffle tickets:
- Get Raffle ticket from our office during office hours or Download & Print them at home
- Sell as many tickets as possible in sets of 2 for $5
- Collect Cash, Check or have buyer send money directly to PayPal: inquiry@clearcharity.org (If sending PayPal, write down buyer’s PayPal email on raffle ticket for verification)
- Write your full name next to sold By section
- Buyer can keep left side & collect completely filled out raffle tickets on right
- Place all collected raffle tickets & cash/check in an envelope
- Put your full name, phone number, and email address on the envelope
- Drop off envelope by 10/13/18 Saturday, using our mail slot on our door

- You may snail mail this in but be sure to mail early to arrive by 10/12/18 Friday. (local mail typically takes 2~3 days and we cannot be responsible for delayed mail)

How you can participate & help!
Terms & Conditions on Diaper Drive, Raffle & Pre-Sale
Each contributing sellers must sell minimum of 5 set of tickets (10 tickets total) to qualify to win prizes. Each 30 diapers qualify for one raffle ticket. If you bring pack of 70 diapers, you’ll receive 2 tickets. We reserve right to update rules as necessary & enforce validation rules if needed.
